The new 4K restoration that was prepared for Bela Tarr's Damnation is a beautiful pearl. I could not believe how great the film looks now because I know how poor it looked in the past. The folks at Arbelos should be very proud of their work because their 4K restoration isn't just one of the year's best, it is one of the best I have seen completed for a black-and-white film to date.
